Witness Protocols is an independent trust anchor — a separate legal and technical entity whose sole function is to receive signed records from operational systems, build tamper-evident cryptographic chains of custody, submit to independent timestamping authorities, and anchor to the Bitcoin blockchain. It has no operational role in the systems it audits. Its outputs are designed to serve as forensic evidence in US federal court, EU regulatory proceedings, and international arbitration.
